Collection, use, and retention of personal informationBranch Map uses information collected within interactive ads and emails to help compile broad anonymous and aggregate statistical trends that help us improve ad performance and content. We do not sell or distribute non-public information, including email addresses collected via our forms or email addresses used to send email campaigns, to any third party. We will never utilize data obtained from individual consumers without the permission of both our client and the individual consumer.
Security of personal information
The management of Branch Map limits employee access to information to those with a business reason for knowing such information. We educate our employees on the importance of maintaining consumer confidentiality and we enforce our privacy policies with appropriate disciplinary procedures.
Protection of information by means of security proceduresWith the assistance of Thawte, Branch Map operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewalls, encryption, and password protection. The company enforces security procedures to protect confidential information from loss, misuse, or alteration. Customers connect with our secure server through Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which encrypts or scrambles exchanged data so that no one else can read it. The use of SSL does require version 4.0 or higher of Netscape or Microsoft Explorer browsers or the latest version of AOL.
Sharing of personal informationBranch Map will not reveal specific information about consumer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use except as follows:
When the information is required to complete a transaction initiated by the consumer
When the consumer requests it
When disclosure is required by law (e.g. subpoena, investigation of fraud, etc)
Business relationships with third parties
Branch Map pledges that we will not share information with third parties unless granted written permission by the consumer.
